this afternoonやlast weekのように、this、last、next、every、what などが付いた「日時」を表す名詞は前置詞を伴うことなく、副詞として働く。これを "副詞的目的格" という。

・	I went to the concert last week.
	先週そのコンサートに行ってきた。
・	I’ve been to Tokyo 3times in the last year.
	過去１年の間に東京に３回行った。

・	She has been sick since last week.
	彼女は先週から病気だ。
・	As mentioned in the Newsletter sent out at the end of last week, attached please find your invoice for 2019.
	先週末に送ったニュースレターで触れましたとおり、2019年の請求書を添付したのでご覧ください。
・	I have been too busy to sleep since last week.
	僕は先週から寝る暇もないくらい忙しい。
・	I still haven't recovered from the cold I caught last week.
	私はまだ先週ひいた風邪が治っておりません。
・	He had a terrible accident last week.
	彼は先週悲惨な事故に会った。
